1. What is the average selling
price of Excimer laser systems?
Presently it’s below $100,000: however, that will
probably change as we go into 2008. We have seen some
systems sell for less than $25,000.
2. Do you disclose all information
about the laser system?
Yes. When we have established a mutual agreement and the
buyer is qualified we furnish all information on the
laser system. To protect the confidentiality of the
seller, we and the seller do not release the serial
number, location or the seller’s name until this is
established.
3. Do you keep an Inventory of
Excimer Lasers at your facility?
NO. Only the original manufacturer is to de-install,
crate, store and ship Excimer Systems. BEWARE of
purchasing an Excimer Laser de-installed or stored in a
facility other than the original manufacturer. We have
witnessed some very expensive charges on installation.
4. Will the manufacturer support
the laser system with a service contract?
Yes. We make certain the seller has contacted the
manufacturer and a service contract will/can be placed
on the laser system.
Note: This does not apply to the International Market.
5. What is the cost of a service
contracts?
There are several service options available from the
manufacturers. We suggest buyers contact the service
department and discuss the available options.
6. If the seller has some warranty
remaining can it be transferred?
The manufacturer usually doesn’t transfer a warranty.
7, Where and how do you obtain
lasers for resale?.
Over the years we have established a good rapport with
laser manufacturers, banking institutions and leasing
companies. Often we are the first company called and
offered the equipment. The laser systems we offer have
been maintained and serviced according to manufacturers
specifications.
8. Can we be assured of a clear
and legal title?
Yes. We make certain the laser system has a marketable
title. We often obtain a Uniform Commercial Code report
and/or a lein search in the respected state.
9.Do you work with the major laser
manufacturers?
Yes. We have a good working relationship with all laser
manufacturers. we are not competitors, each of our
clients have different needs.
10. Do you publish a customer and
testimonial?
No. From the very beginning we have never released any
customers name and we NEVER will. We never ask for or
publish any comments from our customers. Our reputation
says it all.
11. Do you repossess laser systems
for financial institutions?
No: however, we will assist a leasing company or banking
institution if the owner voluntarily releases the laser
system to us. Lasers require special de-installation,
crating and transporting.
12. What are the most IMPORTANTS
things to be aware of when purchasing a pre-owned
Excimer System?
Beware of buying a laser that's been placed in
storage or in a facility NOT authorized by the
manufacturer. Make sure you have an agreement stating
the laser will be in good working order at your
facility. Make sure the person or company has adequate
funds to cover charges if needed.
